Well, I said I had a Jamie Oliver hack for you, when it comes to making chicken noodle soup and I am sure you can’t wait to find out what it is.

I should mention first I didn’t learn this from Jamie Oliver’s chicken noodle soup but from a pasta recipe he did and do it all the time.

What he suggests you do, is buy fresh lasagne sheets and then use scissors (or a knife) to chop up the lasagne into strips.

I do this into thick strips (similar to tagliatelle) when making chicken noodle soup and it stops the noodles from going like mush and it’s an amazing add in.

• Prep. Chop up your chicken thighs into chunks and season well. Peel and dice your vegetables.
• Load. Then load up your soup maker with everything but the white wine, and extra seasonings.
• Beeps. Put your soup on the chunky soup setting and it will automatically set it to 25 or 30 minutes depending on your soup maker brand.
• Reload. 5 minutes before its due to finish add in extra seasoning and white wine.
• Serve. Then when it beeps serve in bowls with warm bread rolls.
