Hot Dip Recipes Everyone Will Love

Easy Cheesy Pizza Dip

The name says it all for this pizza dip. It’s easy, it’s cheesy and looks just like pizza.

It’s a big hit for kids’ parties and other family-friendly events, too.

This recipe makes pepperoni pizza dip.But you can add sausage or ham to adjust the taste just how you like it.

Or you can leave the meat out altogether for a vegetarian dip everyone will love.

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (2)

Hormel Chili Dip

This delicious dip uses three ingredients – cream cheese, chili, and shredded cheese. And takes only 5 minutes to make.

Plus, the most challenging thing you have to do to make it is turn on the microwave!

It doesn’t get much simpler than that! It tastes exceptional over nachos, or with Doritos, but plain tortilla chips also work fine.

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (3)

Velveeta Sausage Dip

This dip takes about 20 minutes to make, but it’s well worth the time. And it’s one of those tasty Rotel recipes you’ll come back to again and again.

All you’ll need is Velveeta, ground sausage, and a can of tomatoes with green chilies.

Once done, it’s creamy, rich, and just a little bit spicy. (Of course, the hotter the Rotel, the spicier it’ll be.)

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (4)

Cowboy Crack Dip

This is kind of like the Velveeta sausage dip listed above, but it also contains corn.

Plus, it’s made from cheddar and cream cheese instead of Velveeta. The overall taste is pretty similar, though.

They’re both delicious. It’s just a matter of whether or not you want the added corn.

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (5)

Spinach Artichoke Dip

I feature many copycat recipes on my site, but this one has to be one of my top three best copycat recipes of all time.

It tastes so good that it’s even better than the original dip from Applebee’s.

It’s delightfully smooth and creamy, and the cheese, spinach, and artichoke flavors blend seamlessly together for an unbeatable taste.

I’ll take my homemade dip over Applebee’s any day of the week.

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (6)

Hot Reuben Dip

If you’re a Reuben sandwich lover, this dip will knock your socks off.

It’s rich, meaty, and ultra creamy. But all you need is five simple ingredients!

After 20 minutes in the oven, the tangy, beefy filling and the bubbly cheese on top are ready to be devoured.

Bean Dip

I like anything I can throw in a Crockpot and ignore all day, especially when it comes out tasting as wonderful as this bean dip.

The secret to its yumminess is in the seasonings – cumin, chili powder, green chiles, onion powder, garlic, salt, and a little lime juice.

The refried beans, salsa, cheese, and sour cream round out the flavor. You can also use this bean dip to make some killer bean burritos.

Cheesy Bacon Spinach Dip

This dip features the smooth, cheesy goodness of spinach dip and the salty, crunchy deliciousness of bacon.

I’m not sure who first decided to add bacon to spinach dip, but the world owes that person a debt.

This stuff is fantastic. You may want to double (or triple!) the recipe, though. It’s hard for people to stop coming back for more.

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (7)

Jalapeno Popper Dip

Contrary to what you might be thinking, this is not a dip for eating with jalapeño poppers. It’s a dip that tastes like jalapeño poppers.

It’s cheesy, spicy, and garlicky, and the breadcrumb topping adds the exact amount of crunchiness needed for perfection. And it’s best when served warm.

Crab Rangoon Dip

This crab dip is spicy, cheesy, and has a soft, almost fluffy texture that’s pretty enjoyable to eat.

It takes a little over half an hour to fix, but you can make it a day ahead if you plan on serving it cold.

I prefer it hot, myself. Either way, it’s a yummy treat. You can lay it out with crackers, wonton strips, or tortilla chips.

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (8)

Queso

Almost everyone has his or her favorite recipe for queso dip, but I like this one. It’s based on Qdoba’s queso recipe, and it’s awesome.

Needless to say, the three different types of cheese make it supremely cheesy. And the poblano peppers add a whole other element of deliciousness.

Simply put, this dip is incredible.

Beer Cheese Dip

Beer cheese dip is the ideal dip for Sunday afternoon football games or finger food potlucks.

The dip’s flavor can vary wildly depending on what type of beer you use to make it.

If you enjoy the strong beer flavor, use dark ale. If you prefer to taste the cheese with only a hint of beer, use light-colored or light beers.

You can serve it cold or warm, but I prefer it warm and creamy.

Cold Dip Recipes

Cowboy Caviar Dip

I’m a big fan of most dips recipes. But when they’re as colorful and pretty as they are delicious, I like them even more.

The ingredients list for this one is long, but it’s insanely easy to make.

All you do is mix everything up in a bowl and cover it with a homemade dressing of honey, lime juice, olive oil, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

It has tons of color and is bursting with flavor, thanks to the variety of yummy ingredients.

French Onion Dip

French onion dip has been one of my all-time favorites since I was a kid, and nothing beats the kind you make yourself.

It takes about 45 minutes to make, which is longer than some.

However, the strong flavor of onions and cloves mixed with the freshness of the chives and parsley is worth every minute you spend on it.

It’s easily the best French onion dip I’ve ever had.

Guacamole

I’ve always loved guacamole, but I never could make it exactly right. It was always too lumpy or too bland.

Sometimes it even seemed a little grainy.

Discovering this copycat Chipotle guacamole recipe was a game-changer. I’ve not made a bad batch of guacamole since.

Sour Cream Veggie Dip

To make this tasty veggie and sour cream dip, you’ll mix your mayo and sour cream until it’s smooth.

Then season it with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic, dried parsley, and dill.

Keep mixing until the herbs are evenly dispersed. Then it’s ready to serve. I like to make mine a day ahead of time, though, so that it’ll be cool and creamy.

Pimento Cheese

Whether you want to make it as a spread for sandwiches or a dip for crackers, this pimento cheese spread/dip is too good to pass up.

It takes 15 minutes and no actual cooking to make.

The result is a tangy, zesty dip (or spread) that tastes especially good in the hot summer months.

30 Easy Dip Recipes for Your Next Party (11)

Seven-Layer Taco Dip

There are plenty of variations on seven-layer dip out there; this is my vegetarian-friendly version.

It has all kinds of great, healthy stuff, including refried beans, olives, tomatoes, bell peppers, cream cheese, lettuce, green onions, and salsa.

The taco seasoning pulls everything together and almost makes it taste more like a big batch of taco salad than a dip. Either way, it’s delicious.

Salsa

I can’t swear that this is the best homemade salsa recipe I’ve ever tried, but I can’t easily think of one that I like better. It just has so much great stuff in it!

Containing tomatoes, jalapeños, onions, green chiles, garlic, and more, this salsa is almost universally loved.

If you want a mild salsa, use mild green chiles; if you like a lot of heat, pick up hot chiles instead.

Hummus

This is an excellent recipe for hummus, and it takes only about 5 minutes to make.

I like a more robust garlic flavor in my hummus, so I tend to go a little heavier with the garlic a bit lighter on the tahini.

I garnish it with red pepper flakes and chives and eat it with warm pita bread.

Dill Pickle Dip

If you prefer your dips zesty and a little sour, mix the ingredients for this dill pickle dip.

All you’ll need is cream cheese, dill pickles, fresh dill, and dill pickle juice.

This dip packs quite a punch, but it’s ideal for serving with fried pickles.

Blue Cheese Dip

Blue cheese dip is another dip you can whip up in five minutes or less with ingredients you probably already have at home.

It’s tangy, slightly sharp, cool, and tastes divine with wings or used as a vegetable dip.

If you refrigerate it after making it, it’ll stay fresh for about a week.

Dessert Dips We Can’t Get Enough Of

Cookie Dough Dip

If you’re looking for a decadent dessert dip that’ll make everyone start drooling, look no farther than this insanely yummy cookie dough dip.

Made with cream cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, toffee bits, and chocolate chips, it’s a sugar high waiting to happen. But it’s soooooo good.

You may have to diet for a week after indulging in it, but you won’t regret it.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Ball

I was delighted when I found this recipe. It was one of the most fun and unique dessert treats I’d ever seen.

It’s now the one I get the most requests for when someone’s planning a kid’s party.

The center features Reese’s chocolate peanut butter cups, along with some brown sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla. The outside is covered with colorful Reese’s Pieces.

It’s beautiful and fun, and the colors make it perfect for fall celebrations.

Cannoli Dip

Made from ricotta and mascarpone cheeses, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and semi-sweet chocolate chips, this cannoli dip is incredible.

It’s the best way to eat homemade cannolis without actually having to go through the trouble of making them.

You can dip it with graham crackers, fruit, broken waffle cones, or any of your other favorite sweet treats.

S’mores Dip

Bring the joys of campfire cooking into your kitchen with this scrumptious s’mores dip.

It’s soft, gooey, fluffy, chocolatey, and incredible. It’s also super easy to make.

And all you have to do is put down a layer of chocolate chips in the bottom of a skillet. Bake then enjoy.

Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip

Here’s another terrific vegetarian dip for fall, and it’s easier to make than people realize.

It’s a quick cream cheese dip with cranberries, sugar, salt, and green onions. You can also add a jalapeño if you enjoy the heat.

Apple Brickle Dip

If you’re looking for a sweet dip to serve for dessert with fruit or even cookies, apple brickle is one of the best.

Aside from the Heath toffee bits, you probably have all the ingredients to make it in your kitchen already.

All you’ll need aside from the toffee is cream cheese, brown and white sugar, and vanilla.

Chocolate Fondue

You can’t have a list of best dips without at least one chocolate fondue recipe on it.

You’ll make this one from a combination of milk and semi-sweet chocolate, and it’s smoother and sweeter than a lot of other chocolate fondue recipes I’ve tried.

Plus, it’s so smooth that I like to twirl my Pirouette cookies around in it and watch it swirl. It’s the best fondue I’ve found for both fruits and cookies.

Cream Cheese Caramel Apple Dip

This is another incredible dessert dip for fall; it’ll turn every slice of apple into a caramel apple from the county fair.

Best of all, it only requires four ingredients – sugar, caramel sauce, cream cheese, and toffee bits – and about 6 minutes to make.
