Super Bowl LIX is scheduled for Feb. 9, 2025. It will be held in New Orleans, which was the original destination for this year’s Big Game before the league opted to swap it for Las Vegas. Two teams will face off in the Ceasars Superdome, which last hosted a Super Bowl in 2013. Overall, New Orleans has hosted 11 of the NFL’s championship games, with eight at the Superdome.

The Kansas City Chiefs have officially entered their dynasty era after winning their third Super Bowl in five seasons. Despite criticisms of the weapons aroundPatrick Mahomes, the Chiefs offense came together just enough for another Super Bowl run.
After an 11-6 finish in the regular season, Mahomes led Kansas City to wins over the Dolphins, Bills and Ravens, proving to everyone once again why you shouldn’t bet against him. AlthoughTravis Kelcewas the team’s top target all season long, they also benefitted hugely from the emergence ofRashee Ricein his first year. The Mahomes-Rice connection could be a big reason why the Chiefs are back in the Big Game next season.
Baltimore Ravens (+900)
The Baltimore Ravens faltered in their effort to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs but they should be right back in the mix for Super Bowl LIX next season.Lamar Jacksonearned his second NFL MVP award, almost in unanimous fashion, and his defense had an equally dominant season.
After crushing the fledgling Texans in the divisional round, the Ravens fell to the Chiefs 17-10. The offense went just 3-for-11 on third down plays but still put up more total yards than their opponents.
Detroit Lions (+1200)
Detroit finally ended its streak this season with Dan Campbell’s crew making it to the NFC Conference Championship game before falling to the 49ers. The Lions became the Cinderella story of the year and the highly-ranked offense had quite a few people going back on theirJared Gofftakes.
The Lions won the NFC North while recording a 12-5 regular season record. Their big question for 2024 will be whether they can maintain even through the potential loss of one or both coordinators.
Buffalo Bills (+1200)
Bounced by the Chiefs in the playoffs, the Buffalo Bills were one field goal away from potentially playing in the conference championship game. Regardless,Josh Allen‘s squad has become a consistent contender under Sean McDermott and they’ll likely be right back in the mix in 2024.
The Bills will need to retain or find replacements for a number of free agents but the pieces on the current roster will keep them competitive. Adding a wide receiver in the upcoming draft should help Allen’s offense take another step forward next season.
Dallas Cowboys (+1500)
Despite looking like they might have the juice to go all the way this year, the Dallas Cowboys fell woefully short of their ultimate goal in 2023. Notching another 12-5 regular season record helped Mike McCarthy hold on to his job for another year but the team got nowhere near the Super Bowl.
Dak Prescottwill return thanks to his massive cap hit in 2024, and the Cowboys will likely sign several stars likeMicah ParsonsandCeeDee Lambto bank-breaking extensions, but it will be a make-or-break year for Dallas. If they make the playoffs but fail to reach the big game again, Jerry Jones could be looking at another major overhaul.
Cincinnati Bengals (+1500)
The Cincinnati Bengals could be right back in the mix in 2024 if they can keep their offensive pieces together through free agency this offseason. Not only that, but they could also use a boost to the offensive line for some extra protection on quarterbackJoe Burrow.
The Bengals went 9-8 this season even despite injury to Burrow. However, they dropped two key games at the end of the regular slate against the Steelers and Chiefs that could have hadJake Browningand Co. making a run.
Philadelphia Eagles (+1700)
Nick Sirianni’s squad is currently undergoing a revamp. Still, they’ll be a team to watch in 2024. The Eagles finished the 2023 season on one of the worst skids in recent NFL history, then lost their playoff game against the Buccaneers 32-9.
Following the playoff loss, Philadelphia hired long-time defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and former Cowboys O.C. Kellen Moore to hopefully return them to their winning ways. QuarterbackJalen Hurtsis sitting comfortably in the middle of a five-year, $255 million contract but the defense could use attention in the offseason.
Miami Dolphins (+2000)
The Miami Dolphins had one of the best offenses in 2023, highlighted by the league’s top receiverTyreek Hilland yet, they ran into a buzzsaw in the Chiefs in round one. Miami lost 26-7 after finishing the regular season 11-6.
If the Dolphins can boost performance on defense, there’s no reason to think they won’t make another playoff run in 2024. Green Bay Packers (+2500)
The Green Bay Packers made a huge splash this season with the emergence of quarterbackJordan Love. That factor alone has Packers fans excited for the future, even if it doesn’t include a Super Bowl in 2025.
Green Bay featured a balanced offense and defense this season under Matt LaFleur and despite falling to the 49ers in the divisional round, the team managed to come up with some signature wins after a 2-5 start to the year. The Packers could revamp the defense a bit in the offseason but regardless, they’ll be a thorn in the Lions’ paw next season.
